Whether on board or on land, cruise passengers can hit their Instagram feeds sharing their best travel experience pix.

We take a look at the Instagrammable ports of call in this 4-part series. Here is our final #ShipsAhoy #Insta favourites across Europe.

Do you have more favourites to add to our list?

1. Santorini, Greece

From the sparkling blue water to the crisp white buildings carved into the cliff side to the jaw-dropping views everywhere you look, one Insta influencer just can’t seem to get enough of Santorini. “Nothing beats this beautiful Greek island,” laughs Christina Vidal, a luxury travel influencer with @JetsetChristina. Christina’s got serious street cred too. She’s been named number one of Travel and Leisure’s Top Luxury Travel Instagrams to follow PLUS one of Oprah’s Top 25 Instagrams and more.

We agree but don’t take our word for it, go and see for yourself!

2. Wurzburg, Germany

Nadia and Mike, ‘Grammars behind @CoupleTravelTheWorld fell head over heels on a visit to this fairy tale town in Germany. “Turns out this town was even more beautiful than we anticipated,” says Nadia whose seen facing the Marienburg Castle in this Insta pic. The landmark location is one of the highlights you encounter during a river cruise on the Main River.

3. Cobh, Ireland

Did you know that Cobh (pronounced Cove) in County Cork located on the south coast of Ireland was the last Port of Call for the Titanic? It’s also super Instagrammable. Cruise lines continue to use this picture-pretty spot as a port of call. You’ll see the towering ships dock right in the centre of town.

4. Budapest, Hungary

Whether it’s a backdrop of a castle, a gorgeous Parliament building, or the bridges crossing the dramatic Danube River – you’ll never be disappointed in snapping an Insta-pic in Budapest.
Hungary’s capital city lures all kinds of Instagrammers who scale the Buda hills to the esteemed Castle District for that well deserved shot or snag a cameo by Hungary’s Parliament for the digi-pic.

By night, Budapest morphs into another world. See the landmarks illuminated like an opened jewelry box of pearls strung across the bridges and buildings, creating even more magical moments.

For Insta-hits whether it’s by day or night, take your pick. You won’t leave disappointed.

5. Funchal, Madeira Island – Portugal

This wonderful city of Funchal in Portugal is poetically set between the mountains and the sea. The result: some of the easiest Insta snaps you’ll ever take. Some have described this bustling city which rises from the Atlantic Ocean like an amphitheatre.

“Funchal boasts forts, an historic old town, well-preserved churches, inviting museums, and regionally crafted wines. Plus it is a walkable city with a pleasant harbour and a medieval cathedral that is more than 500 years old,” says Jayme Henriques Simoes, president of the PR firm, Louis Karno and Company Communications. He encourages cruisers to pay a visit to the Monte Palace high above the city. “It has one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in the world,” he says.

For cruise passengers, the ship dock is located right in the city centre so you could start to create the Instagram feed immediately.
